Happy Sunday

Cute little bird's nest from the zoo.  I think there are 4 or 5 baby birds in there.  What a fantastic nest made out of mud.  Amazing.

White, white and more white

I was cutting the grass last night after work and couldn't believe the beautiful colors in the front yard.  I ran inside to get the camera and here's what the viewfinder saw:

The white against the green was stunning.  Especially as the sun was just beginning to set.

 

Thursday - Red and Pink Day

A day behind, I know.  Yesterday was crazy.

Orange Wednesday

The week of color continues.  Today has been dubbed "Orange Wednesday".   I thought I would have a tough time finding orange things.  I was wrong.  Very wrong indeed.

Got Milk?

I was at my Little Guy's (a/k/a my youngest son) Cub Scout meeting last night and (as usual) had my camera hanging around my neck.  So...after the meeting, while my wife attended a neighborhood association meeting in another part of the school, the shutterbug bit me and I started looking around for interesting photo ops. 

Most likely, you're familiar with the "got milk?" ad campaign that has been going on for quite awhile now.  Well, what better place to promote cow juice than in an elementary school cafeteria?  Voila!  A photo opportunity indeed.  Check out my flickr widget/banner at left.  Click on the images to get the larger version.
